Q: How Important are Aesthetics?

A: While only you can answer that question for your particular applications, the answer we hear from many customers is: "very important indeed."

We believe that vehicle barriers should not detract from your facility, whether it is an office building, hotel, industrial complex, military base, park, stadium, hospital, or school. Too many vehicle barriers are ugly, overly obtrusive, and give a building or facility entrance an unappealing, fortress-like look. PRO Barrier offers good-looking, aesthetic vehicle access control barriers.

After you have seen other vehicle barriers, take a look at our aesthetic features. Start with the finish, where we offer you a range of options:

• A one-step paint finish available in a broad range of colors.
• A three-step finish that has a palette of over 250 colors and produces an automotive-like surface that is both beautiful and durable.
• A digital finishing process that can make our barriers mimic virtually any architectural material, including granite, marble, brick, stone, brushed aluminum, and more, so the barrier can match or complement your building's façade.
• On any of the above, we can apply simple text (such as "STOP" in any language) or graphics, logos, or other design elements.

In addition to the finish, we consider aesthetics in the basic designs of our products. Take our flagship product, the Arrestor model vehicle barrier, and its "little brother," the LightFoot, which we designed from the ground up with aesthetics in mind. When the Arrestor is up to block vehicle traffic the barrier has clean lines and a small profile. When the Arrestor is down it is flush with the roadway and essentially invisible, with no "speed bump" effect to impede traffic flow.

In fact, practically all our barriers have aesthetic options. For example, our Gater model has above-ground stanchions that give it more of an industrial look. We have optional aesthetic covers that will hide those stanchions and which can be finished in hundreds of colors or our digital finish patterns. Our B³ (B-Cube) model bollard can be finished in any of the ways described above.
